This is my 2nd year at Topsail High School and 7th year of teaching. I teach social studies and serve as the head coach of the Topsail Pirates Wrestling team. A graduate of Rosman High School, I earned my degree in History at the University of North Carolina Pembroke. Before coming to Topsail, I was the head wrestling coach at Rosman High School for 3 years. As the head coach of the Tigers, we won 1 regular season conference title, 2 conference tournament titles, Regional title in 2016, and a 4th, 3rd, and 2nd place in the North Carolina State Wrestling Tournament. In 2016 I was recognized as the 2016 Runner-up Coach of the Year in the 1A classification. In 2016, I was also recognized as 2016 Teacher of the Year at Rosman High School.
