Tryout Information

BEFORE YOU CAN TRYOUT:
- Your physical and other paperwork should be uploaded to the Planet High School site on our Athletics Website
Tryouts begin August 2nd at 9am in the main gym and be done by 11:30. We will be doing paperwork checks, etc so we allotted more time for the first day. The remainder of the week we will be from 9am to 11am (August 3-6)
After the first week, tryouts will start at 3:45pm-5\5:30-TBD (August 9-13) Our first scrimmage is August 14th at New Bern
Once cuts are made, practices will be in the afternoons (and once school starts) on all days we don't have a scheduled game
What to bring to tryouts
- Water, towel or mat (optional) for stretching or conditioning, lock for the locker room (all personal items will be kept in the locker rooms during tryouts including phones....so plan ahead)
- Good attitude, good work ethic and intensity!
CLUB VOLLEYBALL CONFLICTS:
We understand that some club volleyball teams are having tryouts during our season. If you are trying out for THS Volleyball this is your priority. If that is a conflict, players trying out for us should make the appropriate decision. Thank you.

The Scrimmage is Saturday August 14th; not Thursday August 12th; This is for JV and Varsity teams. There will be a $5 spectator fee to enter. Lunch is provided for the teams but they should bring any extra snacks\water, etc.
